The ground floor consists of a living room with fireplace, with access to the kitchen. I feel the kitchen as the living room have direct access to the patio where they have a barbecue.

From the living room a large and comfortable staircase leads to the first floor where there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed and the third is attached to one of them, ideal for children, with a Trundle bed and a sofa bed for one person.

It is one of the oldest in this town, a typical construction of those that have lasted until now. It is built on the side of the mountain, with the caves integrated into the house. Some of them still exist and are used as dwellings. In our case the original cave is integrated into the living room, before a small renovation was used as a kitchen. The two earthenware vessels that are inside are the original ones and were used at the time to store and preserve food: wheat, oil, wine, etc….We have put all our affection in it and there have been many friends who have participated in its rehabilitation. Many of the furniture have been restored and painted, some of the doors of the house are the originals that were when the house was acquired, the Mud floor of some of the rooms is also the one the house had at the time.
We have tried to make all the rooms as comfortable as possible, always respecting the layout of the house.
As you will see we wanted to fill many of our corners with books, they are so that you can enjoy reading them, the tranquility of this place invites to the reading. If you are a book lover, let’s enjoy it, and if you want to take some, you can do it, but do not forget that when you read it, if you do not want to keep it, try to do it for others, there is always a place to leave it.
The patio is oriented, like the majority of the town, to the Southeast. In the winter, taking advantage of the sunny days we have in this area of the Alcarria Madrileña, it is the most pleasant to share table and tablecloth enjoying the light and the heat. During the summer, evenings and dinners can be endless enjoying a pleasant temperature and the sound of the autillo, which every summer delights us with its howling, giving us a break from the torrid summer evenings.
Do not stop observing the sky, the absence of light pollution makes it appear that over our heads there was a cover covered with all the constellations, planets, stars, etc.
Enjoy it just like previous tenants have done it before. It is a family home, spacious and cared for, loaded with wonderful memories shared with family and friends. I think all those echoes and memories are impregnated on their walls and make your stay here can be cozy, quiet and happy. We have tried this, putting our efforts so that this small project is a little of all those who visit us.
